Renée Boey 

Founder & Principal, Saint Too Bloom Academy
 
Renee has dedicated her career to integrating innovation and entrepreneurship into education. With a background in both educational leadership and social entrepreneurship, she has overseen Bloom’s rapid growth and the development of its signature STEAM and experiential learning programs. As a teacher, she has seen pressure of tests stifles the imagination and stress of college admissions saps the pleasure of learning. To address these concerns, Renée and her team have done extensive research, designed original curricula, and pursued professional development to prepare young people to face these challenges with positivity, integrity, and creative confidence.

Greg Mertz is an education leader and Director of Innovation at New England Innovation Academy (NEIA), driving hands-on, future-focused learning. He specializes in human-centered design, makerspaces, and emerging technologies, creating programs that empower students to solve real-world problems. Greg has led initiatives integrating AI, entrepreneurship, and fabrication into the curriculum while mentoring faculty in project-based learning. Passionate about transforming education, Greg ensures students are not just prepared for the future—but equipped to shape it.

Cara really enjoys teaching and taking care of children. Helping them to achieve their own milestones is one of her personal motivations. She is also able to encourage and guide her students to explore their daily life and cultivate positive values during their learning opportunities and interaction with peers and adults, which she believes are essential for children's development.
